YRG Wins Silver at Adrian Awards 2005

Portland, Ore., March 2, 2006-YRG, an independent marketing communications agency, has won Silver at the 2005 Adrian Awards, sponsored by the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI). The 2005 competition recognized the best hospitality, travel, and tourism marketing worldwide. The award was presented at the 16th annual Adrian Awards Gala in New York on Monday, January 30th.

YRG was honored for a marketing communications program conceived and executed for Portland Oregon Visitors Association. The campaign tactics consisted of lead generation, direct mail, web page design and full-page ads targeted to meeting planners and enticing them to participate in the many quirky, engaging, unusual attractions that are part of the Portland experience.

This year's competition attracted more than 1,200 entries from 36 countries and was judged by a team of experts representing all sectors of the hospitality industry.
